Create is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Fundraising Executive (Grants) to play a key role in securing funding for our creative arts programmes across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading charity empowering lives, reducing isolation and enhancing wellbeing through the creative arts. As part of our ambitious plans to double our reach by our 25th anniversary in 2028, you will be instrumental in helping us grow income and expand our impact.
As a key member of our Grants team, you will lead on securing funding from trusts, foundations and public bodies, helping to generate over 50% of Create’s income. You will combine compelling storytelling with strategic relationship‑building to ensure our programmes continue to reach those who need them most. This is a full‑time, London‑based (hybrid working available) role.
Responsibilities- Lead and write compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations and public bodies
- Secure significant levels of project and core funding against agreed targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders through tailored communications and meetings
- Develop detailed budgets, forecasts and financial documents for funding proposals
- Manage and grow a pipeline of prospects and funders, maintaining accurate CRM records
- Ensure excellent stewardship by delivering high‑quality reports and communications
- Represent Create at meetings, events and project visits
- Stay fully informed about Create’s programmes, impact and funding priorities
- Support wider fundraising activities and events as required
