About the Role

As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of the people we support throughout the night. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs while promoting independence, communication, and emotional wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting individuals to settle comfortably for the night
  • Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
  • Following individual care plans and risk assessments
  • Monitoring wellbeing and responding promptly to needs throughout the night
  • Recording observations, interventions, and any changes in behaviour or health
  • Using specialist monitoring systems including epilepsy alarms, movement sensors, audio/video monitoring, and call systems
  • Assisting with meals, drinks, and overnight routines according to care guidelines
  • Working in line with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
  • Attending training, supervision, staff meetings, and development sessions

  • Experience within a residential care setting, preferably learning disability
  • Care related qualification, e.g. NVQ in Health and Social Care
