Job Purpose: To support the National Account Team to help develop sales and manage relationships with existing or new customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise and work closely with the National Account Managers to support them in their administrative and sales duties.
- Assist with the correspondence between the National Account Managers and their clients.
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments to provide and obtain information regarding developments with customers.
- Follow up with customers to ensure all issues have been resolved and they are happy with the relevant outcomes.
- Provide feedback and any necessary data or reports to the lead sales person.
- Acknowledge clients by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls.
- Update all contact information.
- Handle all administration relating to the role and maintain up-to-date electronic systems.
- Potentially attend appointments with customers and take minutes, noting action points.
- Work closely across departments with our internal / external sales / operations / accounts and SOP teams regarding project quotations and orders.
- Provide data and reports to support the Account Managers & maintain KPI data.
Must have at least two years’ experience within a similar role, preferably with similar FMCG products.
Skills Required:
- Computer literate and experienced in MS Word and Excel.
- A positive “can do” attitude.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Confident, friendly and approachable.
- Clear communication skills and the enthusiasm to succeed in a close-knit team.
Desirable:
- Experience of using Navision.
