Due to continued growth, a manufacturer and distributor of a wide variety of electrical products including appliances, batteries, lighting and personal care products now have an excellent opportunity for an Ecommerce Manager to join their team in Leigh, with potential to develop a team within the group. The successful candidate will have an understanding and previous knowledge of all areas of selling online and it would be extremely beneficial to have a proven track record in sales and growth in this area. This role would be most suited to someone who is looking to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a rapidly growing company.

The key responsibilities of an eCommerce Executive include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and driving the current Amazon Vendor Central business
  • Creating and developing accounts within eBay shops and Amazon Marketplace recording issues and details which would be important to your role
  • Monitoring stock levels in the business on a constant basis, with an aim to keep the levels moving at a steady level across all products
  • Producing weekly reports for the sales & buying teams to highlight problem areas, and monitoring metrics within each marketplace making sure the business is adhering to the rules of each marketplace
  • Driving marketed listings and sponsored ads in line with the financial aspects to make sure the money spent is done in the most profitable way
  • Supporting the team to launch new products to market and managing them through their product life cycle
  • Optimising existing listings on an ongoing basis to ensure our proposition is as strong as possible
  • Providing weekly analysis on website performance to the wider team and identifying opportunities to maximise sales
  • Managing and supporting Amazon advertising within target KPI’s
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research across product markets to identify areas of opportunity for eCommerce sites
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure customer-facing assets are to the best standard
  • Monitoring product reviews / Customer services interaction
  • Setting up new products in the order management system, working with other departments to ensure accuracy of data
  • Creating a trading strategy to help drive sales
  • Monitoring competitors to make sure the business is not being outpriced

The key skills and qualities of an eCommerce Executive are:

  • A proven track record in an Ecommerce role with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • A keen understanding of Amazon Vendor and Seller Central & Ebay
  • Skilled at online stock management and Amazon forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify trends and patterns within data and provide creative solutions to problems
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the flexibility to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • The ability to work under pressure and work within a team to achieve the best results
  • Comfortable taking ownership for Amazon & Ebay accounts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel
