Fire Alarm Engineer Small Works & Servicing
Salary:£50,000 per annum
Hours:8:00am 4:00pm
Location: London & surrounding areas
A great opportunity has arisen for an experiencedFire Alarm Engineerto join a well-established,BAFE-approved Fire & Security contractor.
The successful candidate will primarily carry outsmall works, second fixing, commissioning and servicingof fire alarm systems across London and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, second fixing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Carrying out planned servicing and maintenance
- Fault finding, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensuring systems are installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standards
- Ensuring all work complies withBS 5839, current fire safety regulations and company procedures
- Completing works professionally and providing a high standard of service to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5years experienceas a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong working knowledge ofBS 5839and xgikmsk other relevant standards
- Competent in installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
- Strong fault-finding and servicing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- ValidECS/CSCS card
- Ownhand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship
