A great opportunity for an entry level Junior Estimator to join a young driven team at a well established Electrical Contractor based in Middlesex. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity for progression in their electrical career where they will be working alongside the senior Electrical Estimator. Candidates require some Electrical experience but no Estimating experience.

Our client works on Commercial, Domestic & Industrial projects around South East England offering a wide range of experience and progression for candidates.

Junior Electrical Estimator Salary & Benefits:

  • Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00 (Friday finish at 16:00)
  • 25 days + bank holidays (After 5 years 1 + day per year (max 30))
  • Pension

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing tender documents, drawings & job specifications.
  • Communication with existing and new clients throughout tender process.
  • Preparing detailed quantity take off sheets.
  • Material costing sheets.
  • Collate costs from supply chain, review for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of electrical and supply chain project cost estimates for our projects.

Essential skills include:

  • Skills using Microsoft Office mainly Word & Excel.
  • Able to read an electrical design drawing.
  • Problem solving.
