Creagh Concrete is seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join our technical team based at Newbridge.
Our Structural Projects Division delivers large precast concrete projects across sectors including education, custodial, infrastructure and commercial construction. The successful candidate will work at the design stage on a variety of challenging construction projects, developing detailed drawings for structural elements within our flooring and precast concrete contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models for construction projects.
- Develop general arrangement and manufacturing drawings for precast concrete structures and structural elements.
- Work closely with engineers and other members of the technical team to develop project designs.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure drawings are suitable for manufacture.
- Interpret architectural and structural information and translate technical concepts into detailed manufacturing and installation drawings.
- Ensure drawings meet client specifications and relevant industry standards.
- Coordinate drawing information and revisions throughout the design process.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ detailing experience within the construction industry.
- Experience using Autodesk Revit to produce detailed construction models and drawings.
- A good understanding of modern construction methods, structural detailing and construction materials.
- The ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage drawing information accurately
- Previous detailing experience within the precast and/or reinforced concrete industry.
- Experience with Tekla Structures.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and coordination.
