We are now seeking a Trainee Project Manager to join our growing team at our Newbridge facility, Edinburgh This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to start or advance their career in project management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
🧱 The Role
As a Trainee Project Manager, you’ll work closely with senior project managers and site teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver concrete and precast construction projects from design to completion. You’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of project delivery, including:
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Supporting communication between design, production, and site teams.
- Coordinating delivery and installation of precast elements on-site.
- Monitoring progress and ensuring work meets quality, safety, and programme requirements.
- Preparing project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Learning how to manage budgets, timelines, and client relationships effectively.
This role provides full on-the-job training and mentoring, designed to develop your technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commercial awareness — preparing you for future progression into a Project Manager role.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A good communicator who enjoys teamwork and problem-solving.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and ideally some exposure to project management or CAD software (training provided).
- Full driving licence preferred (site travel may be required).
