Due to continued growth, Creagh Concrete is seeking a proactive Assistant Supervisor to join our production team in Toomebridge. Supporting the Factory Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily production while taking direct responsibility for Quality Control and Inventory Management to ensure our precast solutions meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist in supervising and coordinating factory personnel during daily production to meet delivery schedules.
- Quality Control (QC): Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure all precast products meet structural and aesthetic standards, ensuring the site remains “audit ready” at all times.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production requirements and maximise resource efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production, quality documentation, and inventory shift records.
- Team Leadership: Support the training and development of production staff and foster a positive team culture.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Preferable experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- QC Knowledge: A strong eye for detail with experience in product verification and quality assurance.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Leadership: Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
