Cre8tive Rooms are seeking a skilled AV Engineer who is as passionate about all things technical to join our team.
Based in Surrey, we deliver high-end residential controls and AV solutions across the UK.
Annual Salary estimate £ 35-£45k
Core Responsibilities:
· First-fix of installations including structured cabling, containment systems, and hardware mounting in line with installation plans.
· Second-fix installation of a broad range of equipment.
· Program and configure residential control systems (Including Lutron Homeworks, Crestron Home, Savant, Control4 and KNX)
· Implement enterprise-grade networking solutions using Draytek, Rivi, Araknis, and Cambium platforms
· Perform comprehensive system testing and fault finding.
· Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, network topologies and passwords for transfer to the Support Team.
· Plan and organise your day based on assigned tasks from the Snagg App and Project Manager.
· Liaise effectively with senior management
· UK-wide travel required (accommodation and expenses covered)
Additional duties:
· Attending sites on both a scheduled basis and in response to support tickets when requested.
· Provide weekend support as part of the on-call rota. (approx. 1 in 4 weeks) to answer and respond to support tickets.
· Install and configure sports simulation systems (training provided).
Administration:
· Handle confidential client information with the strictest of confidence, GDPR-compliant documentation standards and working within NDAs .
· Track company assets and maintain vehicle inspection logs
· Maintain records of all expenses.
· Making training notes and documentation to aid continuous learning.
· Attend occasional team meetings and in-house led training
· Process RMA/Warranty claims with suppliers.
About you:
· Hold a Full UK driving license.
· Proven ability to work independently.
· Experience delivering high-end residential installations to a professional standard, whilst being sensitive to the needs of HNW customers and project deadlines.
· Strong commitment to H&S compliance and risk management
· Enthusiasm for emerging AV technologies
