Our internship programs take place across a variety of dynamic sectors, including business, finance, engineering, law, and much more.
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for growing CRCC Asia's network of partner host companies and supporting them as they host our participants. Our Business Development team focuses on three main areas: Lead Generation, Lead Nurturing, and Client Management. The position will work collaboratively with our regional and global teams to strengthen existing partnerships as well as establish new relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Generation
- Support the development of an email outreach campaign targeting suitable potential Host Companies.
- Establish new Host Company leads through referrals with existing Host organisations, and build partnerships with key companies through establishing a sustainable email marketing campaign.
- Use mailshots, social media, and events to innovatively outreach to potential Host Companies.
- Lead Nurturing and Development
- Manage a portfolio of existing host companies in preparation for the annual relaunch of our international internship programs.
- Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new Host Companies in operating locations.
- Keep Host Companies up to date with our programs and relevant information.
- Assess Host Companies (with the support of our on-the-ground teams) to check they are in line with H&S protocols and suitable for our programs.
- Client Management
- Responsible for evaluating participants’ profiles and effectively ‘matching’ them to a suitable Host Company.
- Engage with participants to establish specific needs, requirements, and opportunities available in our programs.
- Assist the Program Management Team with participants' welfare if issues arise in the workplace.
- Assist with the Host Company documentation needed for participants’ visas.
- Keep information up to date in our CRM system.
- As needed, particularly during peak seasons, you may be asked to assist the Program Management team with program events, such as airport pickup, induction support, and event coordination. This is an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into our program from a student-facing perspective.
EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of business development-related experience in a similar sector.
- Active listening skills and effective written communication, particularly in professional email and online correspondence.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Experience in higher education and/or international education.
- Organisation and project management skills.
- Data management or previous use of a CRM system.
