We would like to hear from experienced structural defect experts interested in joining our clients well-established, independent and growing team of property professionals. This would suit civil engineers or structural engineers with an interest in specific structural defect inspections.
The role involves carrying out structural defect analysis surveys and structural calculations across a wide range of residential projects, with opportunities to get involved in commercial work if desired. Your role will include beam calculations and specific structural investigations of building defects such as subsidence, cracking, roofing and chimney defects, and other structural inspections.
Our client also carries out commercial property structural engineering work, and the role can be expanded to incorporate roof load assessments, mezzanine calculations and design, steel frame design and structural inspections of commercial buildings.
This position would suit someone from a civil engineering or structural engineering background, looking for more control over their work life, varied assignments and an excellent work-life balance. Working with a multi-disciplined team, you will have support from people with a wide range of expertise.
