Full Time Night Shift £13.50 Per Hour Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Paid breaks 4 x 30 mins per shift Temporary to Permanent

Position Summary

  • To carry out the correct handling and processing of customer’s goods in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader in his/her absence.
  • Support continuous improvement across the site, ensuring opportunities are reported and recorded.
  • Provide efficient and pro-active support to the site as part of a dedicated team, to embrace the brand values of the company.

Duties

  • Ensure all forms are completed to the required standards.
  • Alert the Team Leader / Supervisor to any process, job related problems or discrepancies.
  • To record all damage is contained and reported using site procedures.
  • Record and monitor consumable stocks.
  • Adhere to processing schedule/paperwork requirements.
  • Loading and Unloading of Customer product from trailers using MHE.
  • To identify, verify and label customer’s product and place the correct dosimeters/BIs as defined in standard operating procedures.
  • Process all Customer’s product in line with processing parameters and any special instructions.
  • Assist in the handover ensuring all relevant records and standards are adhered to.
  • To ensure cleaning of areas to specified standards are completed at the end of each shift and cleaning register completed daily.
  • Secondary duties to be carried out as per site internal procedures.
  • Consumable stock to be counted and recorded daily, highlight to site management when re-order point levels have been reached.
  • Share responsibility for the security of the premises and Customer goods.
  • Identify and report safety concerns using site procedure and escalate to the appropriate Supervisor or site safety representative.
  • Wear appropriate PPE throughout the shift.

You must be a strong communicator with a good understanding of spoken and written English.
