Quality Technician Inspector

My client, a small, family-run engineering company with a strong reputation for quality and service are looking for an adaptable and self-motivated Quality Technician Inspector to join their team.
What youll be doing:
- Working independently and with colleagues to assist with all activities of the Quality Department where the aim is to meet and exceed our customers requirements.
- Following clear written and spoken instructions.
- Inspection of work at all stages from process approval, masking and final inspection.
- Ensure that the systems in place for monitoring quality are followed precisely.
- Ensure that documentation and processing comply with customer requirements. good practice, companies established process standards and provided specifications.
- Raise any omissions or non-conformances with the appropriate person.
- Record any non-conformances using both the companys internal Non-Conformance Reporting system and where necessary, in accordance with the customers own NCR system. Communicating with customers as required.
- Inspect and measure components using handheld instruments.
- Monitor and record media condition in line with the companys quality system procedures.
- Monitor all other key elements affecting process quality are carried out as specified and records maintained.
- Assist the Quality Manager and Directors in the continued improvement of quality performance throughout the company.
- Close liaison with colleagues in all departments is crucial for efficient processing in this fast-paced environment.

Ideally you will have proven quality department experience coming from high end engineering or motorsport business sectors. Knowledge of finishing processes in general would also be an advantage, as would the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
