My client is seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Team Leader to support warehouse operations, event logistics, and brand activations across the UK. This is a hands-on role leading from the front, ensuring smooth delivery of equipment, installations, and team coordination across fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Operations
- Pick, pack, quality check, and dispatch event kits (including technical/WiFi equipment)
- Support driving, loading/unloading, and transport to event sites
- Install client branding equipment in a variety of activation spaces including shell schemes, shopping centres and outdoor environments
- Troubleshoot on-site and warehouse operational issues
- Ensure accurate receipt of returned stock and report damages or missing items
- Complete post-install photo sign-offs and documentation
- Work flexibly, including travel across the UK, weekends, and bank holidays
- Team Leadership
- Support the Logistics Manager and provide cover during absence
- Supervise drivers, warehouse, and event crews
- Train new staff on procedures, H&S, and vehicle checks
- Run team briefings and communicate company standards and updates
- Warehouse & Inventory
- Manage stock storage, organisation, and quality control
- Maintain inventory systems and complete regular stock checks
- Record damaged goods and assist with basic repairs where possible
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organisation
- Vehicle & Compliance
- Ensure vehicle checks, logs, and damage reports are completed and stored correctly
- Report issues or additional transport requirements promptly
- Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or event environments
- Experience leading or supervising teams
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to handle physical work and fast-paced environments
- Full UK driving licence essential (age +25 due to vehicle insurance)
- Experience with manual handling equipment
- Forklift experience beneficial but not essential
- Flexible with travel and working hours
