Job Description

Would you like to gain worldwide accreditations?\\n\\nWanted to be trained on the job while being fully paid?\\n\\nDo you like driving and having autonomy?\\n\\nIf yes to any of the above – please read on\\n\\nOur client requires a Field Technician to join their team on an initial temporary basis with a view to full time employment.\\n\\nWorking within the materials testing division of a leading UK provider of testing services, this is very much a hands on role and will involve driving to various sites and taking samples for testing.\\n\\nMain Duties\\nSite Work, including on-site sampling and in-situ testing.\\nClient Liaison.\\nPreparation and presentation of test data.\\nTraining other team members on test methods as required.\\nCross-checking other team members’ calculations following tests.\\nCarrying out daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance whilst maintaining cleanliness standards.\\nAssisting in Sample Preparation when required.\\nAd-hoc duties as and when required.\\n\\nSkills / Experience\\nClose attention to detail and understanding of operating within a quality system.\\nGood IT Skills (Microsoft Office base, in particular Excel and Word).\\nPunctual with excellent time-keeping.\\nStrong prioritising and organisational skills.\\nPositive attitude towards changes.\\nAdaptability to use various in-house systems and follow procedures.\\nFull UK Driving Licence.\\n\\nCRC Recruitment are a leading Midlands based recruitment consultancy covering vacancies across the UK.
