To support the growing team in the UK, we are seeking a UK Internal Sales Representative who will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. As the UK Inside Sales Representative, the successful candidate must be comfortable performing telesales duties such as multiple daily cold and warm calls and working with Area Sales Managers to generate interest, qualify prospects and assist in closing sales.
You will provide day to day sales administration support to the UK commercial team and will be responsible for a range of administrative duties in the UK commercial department including:
- Answering and escalating customer enquiries
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) updating and reporting
- Customer follow up emails and phone calls
- Scheduling calls and facilitating customer visits and demonstrations
- Arranging and assisting with UK trade show set-up and attendance
The successful candidate will be required to work at the company’s offices; hybrid or remote working is not an option.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails, tradeshows and building mailing lists
- Understand customer needs and requirements and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Area Sales Managers for further development and closure
- Close sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects for the UK territory
- Perform effective online demos to prospects
- Support the UK Area Sales Managers and parent company with administrative duties
- Deal with customer enquiries by phone, video calls and face to face
- Process sales transactions, provide information about products and work with the parent company and the UK Area Sales Managers to promote and grow the company
- Follow up on customer quotations and provide daily updates to the commercial team
- Meet and greet clients/visitors to the UK office
- With the Area Sales Managers and the Marketing Department, organise and attend UK tradeshows
Requirements and Skills
- Proven inside sales experience
- Strong phone presence and experience of dialling dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Strong listening, presentation and influencing skills
- Must have experience in the use of MS Office suite
- Ability to work on one’s own initiative with minimal supervision while working as part of a team
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and professional in approach and demeanour
- Results-orientated with excellent attention to detail
