We are currently looking for a forward-thinking Mechanical Engineer to join a family run business who are based in Daventry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and experience working with diesel engines. You must also have diagnostics skills including electrics. You will be required to work in the workshop, but also occasionally visit customer sites when required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rebuilding & Repairing
- Working on Diesel Engines
- Fault finding
- Maintenance (Petrol, diesel and gas engines)
- Electric diagnostics skills
- Common rail ECU electronics fault finding
- Customer service
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-13:00
