The Proposal Coordinator supports the proposals team with tender preparation, cost compilation and documentation. This role requires strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams under supervision.

  • Prepare tenders and costings ensuring accuracy in line with customer requirements and company strategy.
  • Analyse client needs to identify the correct solutions and equipment, producing compliant and technically sound proposals.
  • Develop cost build-ups and apply appropriate margins aligned with CRC Evans' operational margin and revenue targets.
  • Lead and participate in proposal review meetings, presenting bid strategies, pricing and technical clarifications.
  • Make requests to and coordinate with the wider Proposal Team, Commercial, Engineering and Operations functions to gather necessary inputs for proposals.
  • Identify and elevate areas of concern within proposals, seeking guidance from SMEs.
  • Log and maintain records of tender activities and progress within CRM and proposal tracking systems.
  • Support customer-facing activities, including presenting proposals and participating in client clarification meetings as required.
  • Work to tight deadlines while ensuring attention to detail and compliance with internal governance processes.
  • Maintain adherence to CRC Evans' QHSE policies and procedures during the tendering process.

Essential Job Specific Education Required

  • OR working towards Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Mathematics, or similar.
  • OR relevant experience in tendering/estimating in a similar role.

Essential Work Experience Required

  • Experience as an Estimator, ideally within Oil & Gas, Construction, or Engineering sectors.
  • Experience in preparation of tenders and proposals.
  • Understanding of cost build-ups, pricing strategy and margin application aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical knowledge of pipeline construction and/or general construction processes.
  • Passion for commercial activities, customer orientated.
  • Attention to detail under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident to support and input within internal meetings and customer-facing discussions.
  • Strong team ethic.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective technical and commercial proposals.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Requirement to travel

Isolated occasional travel to visit customers / regional offices.
