The Role & Description

Are you an experienced and results-driven Project Manager ready to take the lead on a high-profile facility relocation? We’re looking for a proactive professional to manage the seamless transition of our Burnley operations to a new site at Frontier Business Park—while also contributing to future footprint changes across mainland Europe and the Middle East.

This is a pivotal role that requires exceptional planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. As Project Manager, you will lead the full project lifecycle—from initial planning through to execution and delivery—ensuring minimal disruption to operations and alignment with our wider business development strategy.

Why Join Us?

  • Lead a key strategic initiative with real, lasting impact on the business.
  • Be part of a supportive, cross-functional team committed to operational excellence.
  • Gain exposure to international projects and shape future regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of a large-scale facility relocation, including defining project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, logistics, IT, HR, and facilities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient decommissioning of the current site and the commissioning of the new facility.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the transition.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide clear and regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and cost controls.
  • Support additional regional facility changes across Europe and the Middle East, offering guidance and expertise where needed.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering complex factory or industrial relocations—ideally within a manufacturing or logistics-heavy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A hands-on problem solver with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Desirable:

  • Experience with international facility transitions or multi-region project management.
  • Familiarity with equipment installation, facilities planning, and commissioning processes.
