As a Food Runner, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dining area by assisting the waitstaff and supporting the kitchen team. Working closely with both the restaurant and bar teams, you will help deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for:
- Ensure that food is delivered to guests in a timely manner, maintaining the highest standard of service.
- Support the Head Waiter/Waitress and the rest of the service team by providing assistance in delivering food, handling guest requests, and maintaining the flow of service.
- Ensure that dining areas are kept clean and orderly, including clearing tables and resetting them efficiently to meet the company’s cleanliness standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure that orders are accurate and complete when being delivered to guests.
- Act as a key link between the kitchen and the waitstaff to ensure seamless service, coordinating food delivery and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Excel in a dynamic, fast-moving atmosphere where teamwork, speed, and attention to detail are critical for guest satisfaction.
While prior experience in a similar casual dining environment is beneficial, it’s not essential – we welcome those eager to learn and grow. Strong communication skills and a desire to provide excellent service to guests. Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting your colleagues to deliver a high-quality service. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and efficiency. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as these are our busiest times.
