About the Project

Say Something is a roaming expression space by Crazy Peach Art Symposium (a new UAL society) — built for quiet thoughts that haven’t yet found a place to land.

This autumn, we’ll set up small pop-up stations across UAL campuses.

You’ll see us: a small table, a blank wall, and one simple question: “What’s something you’ve always wanted to say but never did?”

You can sit down and talk. Stay silent. Or write it down instead.

Whether your thought is angry, hopeful, absurd, or unclear — we’re here, listening.

Compensation is performance-based: you’ll earn 50p–£1 for each participant you help engage. On average, assistants make £50–£100 per session (2–3 hours) depending on turnout.

Who We Are

Crazy Peach Art Symposium is a fresh UAL society, born out of the Crazy Peach Art Foundation — a platform supporting misfit, independent, and thought-driven artists, building pathways for their work and ideas to thrive in the post-algorithmic age.

We’re here for the good conversations — the kind that go past “so, what do you study?” and land somewhere between deep and weird.

You don’t need to quote famous philosophers or use complex words. Here, we speak simply and honestly, so everyone can join — whether you’re a quiet introvert or a chatty extrovert.

This year, we’re starting small — with campus pop-ups, discussion events, and community meetups — bringing together a crew of people who want to share ideas, test strange thoughts, and hang out in a space where you can be both serious and ridiculous in the same breath.

Who We’re Looking For

This isn’t your typical event job. You don’t need to be outgoing or experienced — just present and open.

You can help as:

  • Quiet Presence – Sit nearby, pass someone a pen, offer a smile, hold space without rushing to fill it.
  • Conversation Starter – Gently ask: “Is there something you’ve always wanted to say?” Or simply sit with someone while they write.
  • Space Keeper – Set up the table, straighten a chair, refill the sticker pile, keep things quietly flowing.
  • Moment Collector – Take a photo, write down a sentence someone left behind, help us remember what almost went unnoticed.

Come for one session, or stay for more — your presence is what makes it matter.

When & Where

We’ll be setting up at major UAL campuses between 25 September and 25 October.

Specific dates and times will be confirmed, but each pop-up will last about 2–3 hours.

  • Central Saint Martins (CSM) – 12:00–15:00, King’s Cross Main Entrance (date TBC)
  • London College of Communication (LCC) – 13:00–16:00, Main Lobby (date TBC)
  • Camberwell College of Arts – 11:00–14:00, Library Entrance (date TBC)
  • Chelsea College of Arts – 14:00–17:00, Studio B Entrance (date TBC)

Compensation

50p–£1 per participant you help engage.

Each pop-up lasts around 2–3 hours, and most assistants typically earn £50–£100 per session, depending on turnout.

This is a performance-based role — the more people you help engage, the more you earn. We’ll make sure footfall is steady at each campus location so your time feels valued.

What You’ll Take Away

  • Meaningful connections with fellow art enthusiasts
  • Unique memories through deep conversations and artistic expression
  • A real sense of how art can spark social change
  • Exclusive Crazy Peach mementos — custom keychains, limited edition stickers, and more
