We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Grounds Keeper to join us in a part-time position to help us maintain and enhance the appearance of our outdoor spaces. From landscaped gardens to guest-facing areas, the Grounds Keeper will ensure our hotel is kept to the highest standard all year round. This is a practical, varied role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain gardens, lawns, pathways, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
  • Carry out regular landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding.
  • Ensure all external areas are clean, safe, and presentable for guests.
  • Conduct basic maintenance tasks (e.g. fencing, outdoor furniture, minor repairs).
  • Support seasonal projects and site improvements.
  • Work closely with management to uphold brand standards across the site.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures when using equipment and machinery.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, or maintenance preferred.
  • Practical, hands-on and physically fit.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible and reliable, with a proactive approach.
  • Basic knowledge of health & safety in outdoor environments.
