Assistant Front Office Manager - Crazy Bear Beaconsfield & Stadhampton
Two hotels. Two very different personalities. One front-office operation that needs to work properly across both.
We're looking for a Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our reception teams across Crazy Bear Beaconsfield and Stadhampton.
Primarily based in Beaconsfield, you'll also work regularly at Stadhampton keeping standards consistent, developing the teams and making sure guests receive the same confident, thoughtful service wherever they stay.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the day-to-day management of front-office operations across both hotels
- Leading reception shifts and acting as a senior point of contact for guests and colleagues
- Making sure arrivals, departures, billing and payments run accurately
- Reviewing occupancy, arrivals, special requests and operational priorities
- Handling guest feedback and resolving problems calmly
- Supporting rotas, holiday planning and appropriate staffing levels
- Recruiting, onboarding, training and developing reception team members
- Setting clear expectations and addressing performance or conduct concerns
- Maintaining consistent procedures and service standards across both hotels
- Monitoring handovers, checklists, reports and front-office administration
- Working closely with housekeeping, reservations, food and beverage, events and maintenance
- Supporting room sales, upgrades and additional bookings
- Maintaining accurate guest records and protecting confidential information
- Covering operational shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
What we're looking for
- Front-office management or assistant management experience within a hotel
- The confidence to lead teams across more than one location
- Strong knowledge of hotel reception and reservation procedures
- Experience using property-management and booking systems Mews and SevenRooms would be useful
- A calm, practical approach to complaints and unexpected problems
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to train, support and hold people accountable
- Good commercial awareness across occupancy, room revenue and labour
- Clear communication with guests, colleagues and senior management
- The ability to travel reliably between Beaconsfield and Stadhampton
- Flexibility to work a varied hospitality rota
- The right to work in the UK
