About the Role
The International Product Integrity Senior Manager leads Crayola’s international product safety, regulatory compliance, and quality programmes.
This role ensures all international products meet Crayola safety standards and regional regulatory requirements while overseeing supplier compliance and cross‑functional risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- International Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Lead Crayola’s international product safety and regulatory compliance programme, ensuring alignment with EU/UK Directives, EN‑71, ISO and other market‑specific standards.
- Safety Standards & Product Specifications: Demonstrate thought leadership and direction to international safety specifications, labelling requirements, risk assessments, and testing strategies for new and existing products across EMEA, LATAM, and Asia; oversee international product compliance programs, including EMEA compliance, market surveillance interactions, and customer/consumer feedback review.
- Cross Functional Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams for safe product design, material selection, and regulatory implementation in international markets.
- Supplier Quality & Risk Management: Lead supplier quality oversight globally by guiding expectations, evaluating quality systems, and partnering with CASO and Easton‑based QA teams.
- External Representation & Horizon Scanning: Represent Crayola with external agencies, standards committees, and regulators while monitoring emerging global safety and quality issues; provide leadership to International and EAME business units, distributors, retailers, and regulatory teams to ensure the product meets these requirements; manage, coach, and develop the Quality Manager – EMEA to ensure strong execution of regional compliance responsibilities and regulatory obligations; drive continuous improvement in global quality, product safety, and regulatory capabilities by identifying opportunities, engaging stakeholders and improving processes across regions.
What we’re looking for
- Deep knowledge of global product safety regulations, including EU Directives, Toy Safety Directive, EN 71, ISO and other market specific standards.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulations to product development, supplier management, and quality systems.
- Experience with ethical audits (SMETA, IETP), ISO9001, supplier audits, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make firm, defensible decisions amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and regions.
