Role Description: This is a full time role for a Graduate Knowledge Engineer at Craxel UK, based in Belfast (Hybrid Role, office based 3 days per week). Our Knowledge Engineers, working with clients and partners, focus on solving complex problems by developing and designing advanced knowledge systems that change the game when it comes to the handling and analysis of data.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining database tooling, knowledge representations and graphs, vector and time series analysis, ensuring data contextualization, and supporting AI readiness.
  • Collaborating with UK and US teams to analyse, structure, and optimise complex data sets for decision making processes, including working with clients and explaining the benefits of Black Forest™.

Qualifications: Who We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree or Masters Graduate in any STEM field.
  • Must be willing to work in an office environment with flexible hybrid working.
  • Strong communicators, both written and verbal.
  • Problem solvers eager to learn and grow.
  • Team players with a collaborative spirit.
  • Detail-oriented with a "can-do" attitude.

Key Skills:

  • Foundational understanding of time series data, data modelling, ontologies, graph databases, or knowledge representation frameworks (e.g., RDF, OWL, SPARQL, property graphs).
  • Understanding of data sources (structured, unstructured, geospatial, and temporal).
  • Understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM grounding concepts, especially in relation to structured data or retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Containers is desirable but not essential.
  • Jira and GitHub knowledge desirable.
