Crawley Borough Council is looking to recruit a motivated and committed Community Development Officer to join the Community Development team on a two-year fixed-term basis. You will work proactively and reactively with residents, voluntary and community organisations, partner agencies and council services to:

  • Enhance the capacity and contribution of the voluntary and community sector
  • Support residents to play an active role in their community
  • Encourage participation in local decision-making
  • Promote integration, cohesion and community identity
  • Support the development and delivery of community projects, initiatives and events
