As a Premises Officer, you will provide friendly and efficient service throughout the day to support the operational needs of the campus. Reporting to the Premises Supervisor and Estates Manager, you will:

  • Respond to day‑to‑day maintenance and caretaking needs.
  • Complete tasks assigned through the College helpdesk system.
  • Undertake general security duties and fire wardening responsibilities when required.

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday 6:00‑14:30, Tuesday 6:00‑14:30, Wednesday 6:00‑14:30, Thursday 6:00‑14:30, Friday 6:00‑14:00.
  • Week 2: Monday 13:30‑22:00, Tuesday 13:30‑22:00, Wednesday 13:30‑22:00, Thursday 13:30‑22:00, Friday 11:00‑19:00.

Requirements:

  • Relevant maintenance or building services experience, ideally within large commercial premises.
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Practical, problem‑solving skills and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and urgent requests are essential.
