Do you have experience and an interest in supporting young people, and knowledge of mental health and safeguarding? Crawley College is recruiting for a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer on a part time, term time only basis.
As a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer you will:
- Provide support to students with a range of health and wellbeing needs
- Assist on the delivery of the Mental Health Strategy
- Be a member of the Safeguarding Team, which includes being duty officer on a rota basis.

What you will bring to the role:
- GCSEs at grade C/4 or above specifically in English and maths and a L3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent are essential.
- A Counselling qualification is desirable.
- You will have experience in providing support to young people with mental health difficulties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, at all ages and levels.
- Understanding of equal opportunities & safety issues and risk assessments.
