Associate Lecturer in ESOL [Bank] [CW7126] in Crawley

Crawley College, part of the Chichester College Group, is seeking a passionate and experienced ESOL Associate Lecturer to join our team, delivering high-quality English language teaching to a diverse group of learners including both adults and 16-19-year-olds. This is a flexible role which allows you to accept work assignments when convenient to you.

As our Associate Lecturer in ESOL, you will play a vital role in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that enable learners from varied backgrounds and abilities to improve their English proficiency and achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals.

• Delivering ESOL courses across multiple levels, from pre-entry to Level 1, tailored to the needs of adult and young learners.
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting on learner progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Supporting learners' personal development and integration into their communities and workplaces.
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Participating in department and college meetings, training, and quality assurance activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to clearly convey language concepts to diverse learners.
• A deep understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, alongside the ability to adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels.
• Patience and cultural sensitivity are essential to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
