Crawford TPA is our highly successful Third Party Administration offering, handling claims for corporate companies and Insurers. We’re looking for our next team leader to support and manage our rapidly expanding team of claims handlers, based at our Leeds office.
Responsibilities
- Your team will be handling a wide variety of public liability claims specifically claims made against local authority clients, so you’ll need to have insight into all manner of claims, from trips and slips to tenancy complaints, subsidence and complex injury cases.
- Your skills and experience as a team leader will help support and guide your team in providing swift settlement within expected service level agreements wherever possible, whilst also ensuring each claim has been fully investigated with a full audit of claims specific information.
- You’ll also be guiding and training your teams on policy cover information, such as liability and excess cover, also ensuring the team relay this information to the policy holder in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- We’re looking for a talented leader: A candidate that enjoys mentoring and developing a team to ensure a high performance and success.
- You’ll ideally have/be:
- An experienced team leader from a Claims background, although those with experience in the insurance industry are very welcome to apply.
- Evidence of mentoring and developing teams to a high performance standard.
- Knowledge of the principles of insurance and claims process.
- Exceptional customer service ethics – ensuring clients and policy holders receive a first class service from your team.
- The ability to deal with challenges and setbacks, resolving any issues in a calm and methodical manner.
- Strong organisational skills, coupled with attention to detail.
- Flexibility in your approach to changing priorities.
