- Description
- To lead on the triage, review, and referral of Executive Adjusting work. Support the Head of Executive Adjusting in leadership of the team and proposition.
- Act as a technical referral point for Executive Adjusters, and the wider SLS team.
- Undertake on a fee earning basis the handling of large and complex loss cases.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Executive team. SLS Leadership, Technical team and Regional Directors in the delivery of SLS technical excellence
- Supervision of technical output of SLS staff on referred and conducted complex and high value PLPD and injury losses
- Approval of technical reports at levels agreed with Head of Executive Adjusting and SLS Technical Director.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or awareness of FSA procedures and the TCF initiative.
- Provide technical guidance support and mentoring through the SLS portfolio to develop expertise and in support of succession planning
- Produce and provide input to technical bulletins and thought leadership on technical matters
- Actively promote SLS expertise, the Executive Adjusting proposition, and the wider opportunities for SLS growth
- Review and validate licencing within teams and support Regional Directors in their operational work
- Conduct a portfolio of Executive Adjusting losses to the highest technical and service standards

- Recognised profile within the UK Liability industry with a strong technical background.
- Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff in relation to technical issues and provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to interpret and analyse technical reports.
- Strong people management experience / background.
