We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Engineer to lead delivery of software systems across cloud, web, and AI-driven development. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrable hands-on engineering experience, deep proficiency in modern Microsoft and cloud technologies, and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation, scalability, and engineering excellence across diverse product domains. The Staff Engineer will serve as a technical thought leader; guiding engineering teams, shaping product direction, and ensuring high-quality, high-performance solutions aligned to business growth.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Architecture: Define and own end-to-end technical architecture for large-scale enterprise applications. Drive solution design across .NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure, SQL Server and microservices. Lead adoption of modern engineering practices such as feature driven development, clean code, automated quality gates, and CI/CD pipelines. Modernize legacy platform to a cloud first solution.
- Product Engineering & Delivery: Architect and deliver cloud native applications on Azure, including serverless components such as Azure Functions for high scale compute workloads. Build robust web, mobile, and cross platform experiences using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, .NET framework, HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Guide end-to-end application lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Data & Systems Development: Design data architecture, modelling, database optimization, and analytics capabilities using SQL Server, and data warehouse technologies. Develop high-performance components including drivers, device integrations, API orchestration layers, and complex SQL logic.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, researchers, and domain experts to translate business objectives into technical systems.
- Quality, Reliability & Scaling: Design systems for high availability, security, global scale, and exceptional performance. Guide incident analysis, root cause investigation, and long term reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Engineering experience in: .NET, .NET MVC, .NET Core, .NET framework, SQL Server (Expert Level), Azure (Functions, AI, App Services, Storage, DevOps), JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, UX focused design, Windows forms, drivers, and system integrations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team leadership. Ability to transform ambiguous business problems into clear engineering solutions. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with enterprise integrations.
