In return for your commitment, we’ll provide you with the knowhow and support so you’ll become a subject matter expert, providing a first class service to our customers. You will also be working on a rotating shift pattern between 8am – 6pm (Monday – Friday).
Responsibilities
- Working in partnership with our Loss Adjusters in the field, you’ll be proactively handling and supporting a varied caseload of Domestic claims up to £50K in value.
- A large part of the work is agreeing mitigation on losses at first notification of loss (FNOL) as required, using your judgement, knowledge and experience to gather all evidence and determine the best possible outcome.
- When required, you’ll book appointments for our Property Adjusters, providing support with all relevant information beforehand.
- Some claimants may require alternative accommodation, so you’ll ensure the reduction of claims lifecycles to reduce costs by proactive management and challenge building scopes and variations when required.
- You’ll need to remove hurdles in the process if required, ensuring you get to the root cause of issues, take responsibility to resolve problems and collate all necessary details to ensure swift settlement whenever possible.
Qualifications
- We’re looking for talent: experienced claims experts who relish challenges and provide solutions.
- Previous property claims handling experience is an advantage, but we’d like to hear from you if you have a similar commercial background.
- Extensive knowledge of Domestic claims with the ability to confidently deal up to the value of £50K.
- Ability to negotiate & settle claims using a variety of methods in line with TCF and Client requirements.
- Strong Customer Skills.
- Good communication skills with all stakeholders.
- Highly experienced in resolving difficult & complex claims.
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively including report writing.
- Ability to work in a structured manner to drive for quality.
- High personal standards of service delivery as a core skill.
- Ability to empathise and communicate at all levels.
- Evidenced ability to plan and organize workload.
- Technical competence and experience of handling property losses up to an agreed value.
