Job Summary
Our well-established commercial and industrial service client is seeking an experienced HVAC-R Technician to join their growing field service team. This is a full-time, field-based position with dispatch from home after the initial training period. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, safety-conscious professional with a strong background in diagnostics and mechanical repair.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and control issues on HVACR equipment
- Complete digital service tickets and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers during service calls
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (weekends) and optional Saturday overtime
- Operate a company vehicle safely for travel to and from job sites
Qualifications
- 2 years+ of HVACR experience in commercial or industrial environments
- EPA 608 Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (for use of company vehicle)
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service ability
- Capable of working independently once trained
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master-level HVAC license (pay adjusted accordingly)
- Hands-on experience with RTUs, chillers, walk-in coolers/freezers, boilers, and HVAC control systems
- Comfort using digital tools for work orders and reporting
