We are delighted to launch our TPA Apprenticeship scheme for 2026. This is an ideal opportunity to kickstart your career with a global leader at entry level and to become a Technical Insurance Claims Handler. You’ll start your journey with a full programme of development, giving you access to all the tools and training you’ll need.
Responsibilities
- Your role will involve dealing with customers on a daily basis, answering and making calls, dealing with confidential enquiries, accurate data inputting of customers' new claims, making liability decisions, allocating work across teams and instructing suppliers to progress the claim.
- During this period you will gain experience in motor, property & liability claims.
- As you progress, you’ll also have the opportunity to handle your own portfolio of insurance claims from initial receipt to settlement.
This role provides an entry level opportunity into claims handling and has been designed to complement the Cert. CII qualification.
Qualifications
- You will need to work well as part of a team environment, be an effective communicator and enjoy problem solving.
- Good time management skills and the ability to organise yourself effectively are crucial.
- You’ll need to take ownership, which is being proactive and owning your personal objectives and focus on results.
- You’ll need to have 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Due to the nature of our business, any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory basic DBS check.
