Responsible for ensuring potential and existing Contractor Connection contractor compliance and capacity are adequate to meet the rapidly growing demands of the company’s clients in specific geographic areas and trades. The position requires the ability to present the company’s value proposition to contractors and increase the speed and efficiency of bringing qualified applicants into the network.
A major component of the role will be Contractor Recruitment and other tasks within the Membership Services Team along with ensuring contractors meet Health and Safety, legislative and financial compliance set by Contractor Connection.
Responsibilities- Assist with identification and recruitment of contractors for the network.
- Update sustainable pipeline of contractors that is driven by demand forecasts as instructed.
- Follow procedures set for contractor recruitment.
- Ensure correct documents are obtained for compliance.
- Work with both membership services Manager and rest of the Network Team to ensure procedures are followed.
- Use job portals to assist with contractor allocation as required.
- Liaise with internal parties to ensure relevant internal approvals are obtained as required.
- Issue and monitor contractor annual assessments returns when required.
- Assist with contractor audit requests as and when required.
- Liaise with marketing department for promotional material to support events, recruitment campaigns etc when required.
- Assist in meeting room bookings for Network Team at Crawford Offices or other suitable premises as required.
- Assist with organisation of contractor forums/workshops as required.
- Produce information for Network Team presentations regarding recruitment and onboarding.
- Any other administration task as required.
- Experience in housing/repair/maintenance sector.
- Compliance and supply chain experience is preferred but not essential.
- Educated to at least GCSE level.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Able to manage own time and be self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good PC skills with ability to use e-mail, the Internet, and MS-Office applications.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a speedy/responsive manner when required.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
