Overview
To support / handle complex renewable energy claims arising through the London Market and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global Renewable Energy initiatives and objectives.
- Preparing reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim, including technical aspects, policy analysis and liability, quantum and future actions.
- Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communication.
- Maintain & develop strong and sustainable relationships with existing and new clients, based on the delivery of "Technical Excellence" and a good understanding of client's needs.
- Visiting sites – claims & risk engineering.
- Instructing and controlling experts both internally and externally such as engineers, risk consultants, forensic scientists and lawyers.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or awareness of FCA procedures and the TCF initiative.
- Identifying and developing business opportunities for self and team.
- Actively seek to develop oneself and take responsibility for your own training and development.
Qualifications
- Engineering qualification (Degree / HND / equivalent) and suitable demonstrable experience.
- Industry experience with direct exposure to renewable energy technology.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Reputation for 'Technical Excellence' within the Renewable Energy sector.
- Industry relevant qualifications.
- Good understanding of the Energy Markets.
- Experience of delivering renewable energy engineering and / or consulting services with a particular focus on Hydrogen and BESS.
- Strong team working and collaboration.
- Demonstrate personal integrity in a way which is consistent to the company's RESTORE values (Respect, Empowerment, Sustainability, Training, One Crawford, Recognition, Entrepreneurial Spirit).
- Communicate effectively by sharing, listening and exchanging information and knowledge at all levels.
