The role provides flexible working arrangements within our City Centre offices and working from home, with regular regional travel required and occasional overnight stays depending on location.
Responsibilities
You’ll be supporting our valued clients in proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of third‑party liability claims, typically up to the value of £100k. You’ll establish liability via thorough investigation on each case, provide support and advice on claims issues to policyholders within specified timeframes. Your portfolio will consist of employers\’ liability and public liability claims, with a mixture of investigate‑and‑report‑only cases and cradle‑to‑grave handling.
Client relationships will be key, managing SLAs and KPIs, and engaging proactively with clients and brokers to assist efficient claims handling and business development opportunities.
You’ll liaise with colleagues across business areas such as Property, Major & Complex Loss, Contractor Connections and Legal Services, ensuring each step of the claims process is thorough, collating and recording all necessary statements and evidence.
You’ll remove hurdles in the process, resolve issues and collate details to achieve swift settlement or denial whenever possible.
