Within this rewarding role, you’ll be complementing our existing Property team in handling general material damage losses and assisting with complex building-related issues. Claims typically range from around 20k. This role, based within our Belfast office, benefits from hybrid working arrangements. Travel may be required for site visits, inspections, and meetings primarily within NI, with occasional travel to GB and ROI.
You’ll work alongside experienced adjusters, where claims are usually adjuster-led and require surveying expertise to expedite settlement.
You will conduct initial damage assessments, complete defect diagnosis reports, and provide professional appraisal reports with budget costings and recommendations. Occasionally, you may handle project management tasks, including contract management and ensuring compliance with planning, statutory, and CDM requirements. Responsibilities may also include arranging testing (e.g., ACMs), preparing reports, resolving complaints, and ensuring performance and process compliance.
