We're looking for a designer with good instincts, strong visual taste and a genuine love for the craft to join our team in Newcastle. You know when to push an idea further and when to strip it back. Someone who enjoys the process as much as the outcome. You'll need around 4+ years' experience in an agency or studio environment, along with a portfolio that shows thoughtful ideas, strong execution and an eye for detail.

The role involves being part of a collaborative creative team, working closely with designers, creatives, strategists and account managers to develop work that feels clear, distinctive and well crafted.

  • Contribute confidently to internal reviews and client presentations
  • Work across brand systems, campaign assets, socials and decks
  • Manage your time across different projects and deadlines
  • Stay curious about design, culture, trends, emerging tools and AI
  • Work closely with the Design Director and Creative Director

You're someone who:

  • Notices when something feels "off", even if you can't explain why
  • Can balance ideas with execution
  • Enjoys collaborating and sharing work openly
  • Wants to keep learning and developing
  • Brings positive energy to the team around you
  • Is proactive and willing to take initiative
  • Has a keen eye for the latest trends in design and culture
  • Is always open to feedback and willing to push the idea further

Tools you should feel comfortable using:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Figma (for Digital, UI and Brand Guidelines)

Useful extras include:

  • After Effects or motion skills
  • Print production knowledge
  • AI tools within creative workflows
  • Google Slides / PowerPoint / Keynote

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the Newcastle office and the option to work 2 days from home.
