Craven Primary Academy is looking to appoint two Teaching Assistant Level 2s to join the academy in September 2026 on a temporary, part-time basis. We are seeking candidates who are motivated to support educational outcomes for pupils, including those in challenging circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching or senior staff to undertake work, care, and support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may take place in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access learning and achieve their individual targets. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver planned interventions and provide tailored support within an extended classroom environment.

Hours and Location

Hours: 30 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks).
