We are currently seeking to employ a committed and motivated Lecturer in Land based subjects to teach a range of units from Countryside, Agriculture, and Horticulture programmes. The appointed Lecturer will develop and design appropriate learning materials for a variety of learners, act as Programme Leader and provide support and guidance to students and staff, as necessary. They will prepare, mark, assess and record students’ work as necessary to meet Quality Assurance and self‑assessment requirements within deadlines.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified to Level 2 (GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent) in English and Maths (or willing to work towards completion within a specified time frame)
- Minimum Level 6 qualification or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area
- Teaching qualification to Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training/PGCE/Cert Ed (or working towards within the first 2 years of employment – this will be included within contract)
- Ability to deliver good teaching practice
- Experience of working in job roles in the specific teaching area (Vocational Experience)
