Role Description
Our BSI accredited Bodyshop delivers high quality repairs to the highest industry standards. We handle insurance and private work, from minor damage to major structural repairs. Our expert technicians and state of the art facilities ensure vehicles are repaired to manufacturers standards.
Due to the investment in a new facility, we are seeking an experienced and motivated full time on site Body Shop Manager to join our team. We are relocating to a larger site in Macclesfield in the coming weeks. As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the body shop, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the body shop.
- Ensure that work is carried out to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
- Manage and motivate a team of body shop technicians, ensuring that they are trained and developed to the highest standards.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Liaise with insurance companies and customers to ensure that repairs are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and maintain systems and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the body shop operations to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Body Shop Manager role with expertise in health and safety protocols.
- Excellent knowledge of body shop operations and repair processes.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- The ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- A full UK driving licence.
