Responsibilities
- Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
- Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
- Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
- Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access vehicle parts.
- Participate in all required safety meetings.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using appropriate tools.
- Supervise and guide apprentices or team members when needed, explaining procedures and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a frame machine.
- Certification in body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
- Ability to supervise repair personnel.
- Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is competitive and based on knowledge, skills, experience, and certifications. This role is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages for all hours worked. The listed pay range reflects the average for full-time employees in this position.
