We require a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Planning Administrator to assist in the day-to-day planning for the site retail production departments, ensuring that sufficient stocks and materials are available to meet daily customer orders.
Main Duties:
- Coordinate the movement of goods from Production to Internal/External customers
- Manage stock levels and communicate shortages and surplus volumes
- Liaise with internal sites and factory departments
- Monitor deliveries and resolve supply chain issues
- Prepare production plan and maintain supply schedules
- Support continuous improvements across the supply chain
- Attend group morning call with daily production information
- Liaise with technical department to produce detailed specifications/assist with customer complaints if applicable
Essential Criteria:
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office
- Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving and adapting to changing business demands
- Ability to challenge and look for different solutions and opportunities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship building skills to work effectively with suppliers, production, logistics and sales teams
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working in manufacturing environment
- Level 2 food safety
- Customer focused and attention to detail
- Hazards and near miss reporting
39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday: 05:30-14:00 & Friday: 05:30-12:00. Please note flexibility will be required to suit operational requirements.
