We require a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Planning & Logistics Co-ordinator within our Despatch department. The role will include:
- Working with hauliers to monitor daily transport
- Co-ordinate and monitor the movement of dolavs
- Working with the external cold stores to account for and manage stock
- Work closely with the finance department to raise Purchase Orders
Your duties will include:
- Daily completion and monitoring of transport plans
- Liaising with despatch department daily
- Communicating with hauliers daily
- Tracking internal delivery performance
- Communication daily dolav despatch to TD/JB/CS
- Communicating with group/internal Cranswick sites regarding dolavs
- Arranging damaged dolav collection
- Covering butchery plan ad-hoc
- Covering sales admin to put orders on/amend orders ad-hoc
- Raising HSF weekly purchase order including detail of damaged deliveries/damaged collections
- Raising daily purchase orders for haulage
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills / qualifications / attributes:
- Essential Criteria: 2 years previous experience of working in a similar role
- Flexible and adaptable
- Good communication and listening skills
- Good organization and planning/scheduling skills
- Desirable Criteria: Preferably experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Level 3 H&S either IOSH Managing Safely or Cranswick equivalent
- Customer focused and attention to detail
- Hazards near miss reporting
Hours of work: 39 hours per week. Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm, Fri 8am to 3.30pm. Please note flexibility may be required to suit operational requirements.
