Job requirements of Night Loading Bay Chargehand:
- To oversee loading bay operations and day to day activities.
- Rotating and organizing stock within the chilled storage areas.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Correct receipting of goods.
- Picking orders in correct date order to ensure stock rotation is correct.
- Keep up to date with changes to products and their packaging to enable efficient order picking.
- Carry out the day to day manual handling that is required.
- Leading the Loading Bay team and being the first point of contact for support.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday
Hours: 16.00pm – 00.15am
What you will need:
- You must be able to motivate your team.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ideally you will have experience of team leading within a fast paced, food production environment.
- Possess high standards of work.
Pay and benefits:
- Salary - £17.36 Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus.
- Overtime – time and a third after contracted hours.
