About the Role
Cranswick Farming Division is seeking a Technical Compliance Coordinator to support the ongoing management and development of our compliance systems across pig farming operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, updating, and developing key compliance documentation and systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as Red Tractor and RSPCA assurance requirements. You will work closely with the Welfare & Compliance team to ensure policies are accurate, accessible, and consistently applied across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and develop company policies in line with industry standards and internal requirements
- Support the creation and ongoing management of the company policy portal, ensuring documents are accurate and up to date
- Ensure compliance documentation aligns with schemes such as Red Tractor and RSPCA assurance standards
- Manage ad-hoc compliance tasks including documentation tracking and record keeping
- Work closely with the Welfare & Compliance team to ensure consistency across all sites
- Monitor updates to relevant industry standards and support implementation of changes
- Ensure all compliance records are organised, accessible, and properly maintained
About You
- Strong understanding of compliance standards within agriculture or livestock production (e.g. Red Tractor, RSPCA assurance preferred)
- Experience in policy writing, document control, or compliance administration
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with systems, documentation, and structured processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely within a team
- Proactive and methodical approach to work
- IT literate with experience maintaining document or policy systems (e.g. portals or databases)
