The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Mon-Fri, 6am-2.30pm with daily overtime required until production completed.

40hrs contract at Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB.

We are looking for skilled butchers to join the team at our Preston, Hull site (HU12 8TB). Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a block test to determine grade to start on and relevant pay grade. Please note this is for experienced butchers that are currently working in or have recently worked in food production.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • To work to the department targets and yields, cutting and butchering any part of the carcass to specification.
  • All muscles on any primal, on any line, within the Butchery Hall to be cut correctly, seamed and trimmed to the required standard.
  • All bones to be removed from any primal and to the required standard.
  • Complete all tasks on the Cutting Line (including knife work).
  • Competent in operating all saws on the Cutting Line, including the loin derinder.

  • Able to work in fast-paced environment to daily targets.
  • Food Safety and hygiene knowledge.
